Hell Yes!

Does it begin with saying yes to life?

It does. It begins with saying yes to a surrender.

A surrender to what is known. What is safe, comfortable. Perhaps even mediocre.

Almost no matter where you are, how successful you are, a part of you feels there is more.

Does that mean you have to chase it?

No - only if something keeps showing up, I'd say.

That could be a dream or a vision. But it could also show up as pain, as patterns of arguments, or negative spirals of thought.

That could be the calling.

And sure, the world of opportunities and shiny objects infatuates us all. Again, that doesn't mean we have to act on them. But if you're committed to depth, you will seek the deeper layers of existence.

That is what the Hell Yes Challenge invites you to get a taste of.

There is a gift in stripping away comfort - to see what is left when content gets scarce. The closer to your true self you get.

To find Hell Yes, we must fast. We must dare to say no.

Fasting from comfortable habits - could be food, spending money, consuming new content. Many fasts are possible, and perhaps in this day of information, needed.

Because more in than out is the definition of toxic - not only for body and mind, but for true, intuitive wisdom to come through.

That's why I created this. I saw myself always seeking the next new teaching that was going to be my salvation, my solution - a shiny object.

The Hell Yes Challenge is for men who are ready to take leadership of their own life. You are not held by the hand and reminded of how to show up.

You are given an invitation - a challenge, if you will. And you do it, or you don't. You give it all, or you half-ass it. Totally up to you.

But you are held and celebrated in your way of showing up.

One thing I know from teaching: you can't hurry someone out of their neurosis. The path can be shown, but the journey must be walked by the individual.

Fully responsible. Capable. Functional. You are that - you have that capacity. The group field, your showing up, and your commitment ultimately holds you in that remembrance.

Whether you do or you don't, you'll regret it - as Søren Kierkegaard said.

So why not? Why not give it your all, make the best life possible by your standards, not anybody else's. Make it worth it. Make the gods proud. Let your life be an inspiration - more than survival.

Next Hell Yes starts July 27th. 11 days - just enough time to wake up.

Part 2 - Searching for death

This is the second part of my story. As I was writing I realised - this is a big story. So this part I have deliberately cut a lot out. It is about the search for meaning. The oldest trick in the book
